Fallen Angel
‘Did you see that?’ asked Ivo showing something in the sky.
‘Yes,’ answered Marcus and started to look for something in his bag.
‘Was that …?’ Ivo gasped looking at Marcus with hope.
He nodded his head to agree.
‘But B.O. said that they don’t exist,’ said Ralph with distrust.
‘B.O. knows nothing.’ Marcus was still rummaging in his bag. ‘When he doesn’t understand something, he acts as if it didn’t matter or exist.’
‘What a jerk,’ Ivo looked at the sky with wonder.
‘Oi! Gentlemen!’
‘We are here!’
Lux ran into their hangout and fell on Marcus.
‘Ah … I’m sorry! Please, don’t hurt me.’ He hid behind Ralph.
‘I don’t mind,’ said Marcus and took a small, black notebook out of his bag. ‘This is what I care about.’
Everybody looked at him.
‘You’re a little scary when you’re saying that,’ Lux laughed.
‘More like mad,’ Ivo glanced at him and returned to his dreams.
‘I saw something falling from the sky … very fast …’ Lux started talking. ‘It fell on the laboratory’s area. I think it’s still there.’
Ivo grew animated. ‘You mean something really light?’
Lux agreed.
‘But what was that?’ asked Ralph.
‘An angel, probably,’ said Marcus indifferently and started to make notes.
‘An angel?’ Ivo mused.
‘But B.O. said …’
‘B.O. is a fool. I told you, Ralph!’
‘Whooah! Real Fallen Angel!’ screamed Lux. ‘Awesome!’
‘Should we help him?’ Ralph became anxious. ‘Since he’s still lying on ‘their’ terrain.’
‘Not for a long time,’ Marcus closed his notebook. ‘He’ll disappear when the sun lights him.’
Then it started to bright up.
