Should possessing a gun be legal in Poland?
Every now and then there appears a question of liberalising/ tightening gun possessing restrictions. The debate is often revived after a tragedy like this month in Virginia Tech. That is when people start thinking whether the feeling of being able to protect oneself is worth the possible danger possessing a gun involves (if one thinks it really does).
The question I would like to ask you is what do you think of gun possessing restrictions in Poland? Do you think guns should be made legal in our country?
Please, answer this question in the form of a part of a discursive essay. Put on the blog the essay plan and its two full paragraphs: introduction (see course book, page 83 for instructions) and another one of your own choice.

gun posessing restrictions is a moot problem, now widely discussed, especially because of the tragedy in Virginia Tech. here in Poland ownership of a gun is illegal. the problem is, that people do not agree in this matter, and some want guns to become legal.
in my view ownership of this weapon should be limited.
(…)
however i agree with the well known slogan ‘guns don’t kill, people do’, i’m against possessing a gun by everybody. if there is an easy way to get and possess a gun, usually everybody would have it. People, while thinking about their problems, could find a solution in using a gun and hurting or even killing somebody or themselves. it can be even the first thought which could come to their mind. it’s without a question that such situation could be really dangerous.
ahh my teacher didn’t like flowers my group gave her… and now we have some extra work… hih but as a good girl I do what should be done [except studing;) ] but back to subject…
you can get a gun in Poland if you have a licence. and that’s how it should be. I know that you need to take a lot of effort to get that licence. however view of poland where people can buy a gun easily seems to be a nightmear. probably some of readers would think that I overreacted and it’s because tragedy in Virginia. but now think how many freaks we have only in Białystok. and then give them guns… that would be a massacre… thus gun licence in Poland should be hold for sure
I can only hope that law in USA will change and we won’t hear about another tragedy where innocent people die
To Dorothy:
Did you say flowers? I would have sworn it was a funeral wreath!;)
Step Up is full of black humour…
flowers… suneral wreath… all the same:D
ups it supposed to be funeral wreath:)
