The very first entry for IELTS (and not the very first for others) :)
Our discussion yesterday provoked me to some serious thinking :) First of all, I realized that the only thing I spend money on – no matter the price, is music and everything that’s involved. Actually, in the evening, I caught myself buying another CD – of an artist that’s not even my favourite – as a treat to myself :) Do you ever catch yoursef on doing something similar? Or afterwards – when you’ve already paid for the stuff you don’t really need…

Sometimes I buy sweets this way. In fact, they are completely not necesary for me ;) But maybe it’s stronger than me. Music is also the think which my money are being often spent on. But for me it’s quite important and useful; even for practical reasons because I’m quite close to music business; in fact I’m in it ;)
in fact i love shopping :) and in my opinion there is nothing like unnecesary stuff:) you can make use of everything ..somehow:)
but my biggest addiction are bags-no matter the price-obviously i have some common sense, i belive:) always after shopping i have to quarell with my dad that it’s my last bag and that i reeeeeally need it:D
I think that there are no people with out adictions :) My problem is spending money on the thing I have just thougt of. Often the thing I buy is something what I want to give to one of my friends or someone close to me. Then the price doesn’t metter and I’m happy that I can make someons hopes or dreams come true.
=> to all women having a weakness for shopping:
…there’s no things which are unnecessary, but necessities which haven’t been already found…
:)
women and shopping -> the perfect subject
i just love reading stories of this kind :)
but… i have to admin that i myself have a little thing to share in this shopping-addict support group :P.
the only things that i buy with no great purpose is junk food and sweets BUT only when im hungry or/and tired . Therefor i try not to carry money on me to cut the cost to a minimum :)
I know sth about purse buying addiction. Once I bought 2 exactly the same leather purses but in other colours:)
I wish we had more sales in Poland. It’s a great satisfaction to buy sth what was f.ex. 50$ for 10$. Yes, It mightturn to addiction when things You want to have are o not expensive, so You have to be becareful and don”t loose your head
actually, I’m catching myself doing the same, I love music and just love buying CD’s – I’ve got a feeling I’ve just spended my money in a proper way. CD’s are good investment I think and they are not as expensive as they used to be 2-3 years ago. maybe you’ve heard about POLSKA CENA series – for example the newest release from U2 (U2 18 singles) for only 26zl! (originally it’s 52zl)
